“It’s the little things citizens do. That’s what will make the difference. My little thing is planting trees.” – Wangari Maathai
Sustainability is not only about policies and plastic. It is deeply personal. It is about the everyday decisions we make, and the values we choose to live by.
In coaching, we often explore alignment: How do your actions reflect what matters most to you? This Earth Day, I invite you to extend that reflection to the planet we share.
Coaching for sustainability does not require radical shifts. It begins with awareness. With noticing. With asking:
"What small habit could I change that supports a future I believe in?" Or, "How might I lead or influence others toward more mindful choices?"
Leadership, after all, starts within. Whether you are reducing waste, choosing ethical suppliers, or creating space for climate conversations at work. These are acts of purpose.
Because thriving is not just about individual wellbeing. It is about collective stewardship.
