“The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.” – Hans Hofmann
Plastic Free July is a global movement to reduce waste, but its message goes far beyond single-use plastics.
It is an invitation to ask: What am I carrying that no longer serves me?

Just as we clear our kitchens and shopping bags of plastic, we can clear our lives of the unnecessary: the habits, commitments, or expectations that leave us feeling cluttered or overwhelmed.
Living simply does not mean living less. It means choosing intentionally. It means recognising what truly matters and letting the rest go.
This month, consider making space not just in your cupboards, but in your thoughts, your routines, and your relationships.
Because when we let go of the excess, we begin to see the essentials more clearly.
Try This:
Take inventory: What is one “mental plastic” habit you could release this month?
Create a "no list": things you will stop doing to reclaim time and energy.
Try a week of mindful simplicity: no multitasking, just one intentional task at a time.
