“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
LGBT+ History Month invites us to honour not just history, but humanity. In coaching, embracing authenticity is foundational. It’s where real growth begins.
Inclusive coaching is not about boxes or labels. It’s about making space. Space for individuals to show up fully, lead boldly, and be seen without fear or façade.
Over the years, I have coached professionals navigating workplaces where being authentic felt risky. Together, we worked on reclaiming confidence, reconnecting with values, and building the courage to lead from within.
When we elevate authenticity, we empower transformation. Not just in individuals, but in culture.
So this month, ask: “Where in my life or leadership might I be holding back and why?” And equally: “How can I champion more inclusive spaces for others?”
Because when people feel safe to be themselves, they thrive and so does everyone around them.
