Common coaching scenario

Overcoming imposter syndrome

You're doing well, have a good job or business and are achieving. You don't feel like you earned it. You've been lucky to get the breaks or jobs you've got so far. The little voice in your head says your luck will run out, you will be discovered soon. They will find out you can't really do the job, you're not really good enough. You second guess and question yourself and your actions. You dismiss praise and feel uncomfortable when you receive positive feedback. You are likely to procrastinate, take on too much work, feel anxious and think of the worst scenarios. It's exhausting. You want to feel different, to have more confidence and self-belief. You want to believe others when they tell you you're doing well. You want to be able to follow your dreams instead of settling.
